The last two seasons when Kobe lead the league scoring everyone was saying that we should look at the records. This year it's oh but Leborn leads the league in scoreing. Kobe and Leborn both started the year with the same teams but the Lakers had a better record before the trade for Gasol. Then the Cavs made a huge trade. Kobe plays D on the other teams best player, Scores, Passes, and plays in the West where every team from 1-6 could win a ring and if was in the east and was healthy might even win the conference. No give me a reason a good reason why Kobe hasn't earned the MVP this year. Cause the arguement that Leborn has no help is old and full of it cause if Larry Hughes isn't better then Smush Parker then ur crazy
Who should when the NBA MVP?soccer
i agree with you.
kobe deserves it b/c he's the best player in the league. he is the best scorer, a winner, a good defender, a good passer, he can shoot, dribble and post, he is a good rebounder and his team is one of the best in the league.
Who should when the NBA MVP?celtics ,nba teams
Lebron and CP3 can get it next year or some other.
this year should be Kobe.
he really desreves it..
CP3 all the way Kobe has much more weapons and lost to the Grizzlies, Lebron doesnt have a record as good as the Hornets, so CP3 all the way
kobe is one of the front runners and Lebron is in the mix because of his stats. The voting usually goes to a team with a good record. Lakers have a good record and may end up with best record in the west. Lebron has no help arguement is old, but it still applies. His team is sorry. Triple team Lebron and he kicks it out to an open Wally S for a brick.
Also the CAvs would probably be as good as the Heat if wasn't on the team.
KB
LeBron James.maybe even KG.
Kobe's waaay overrated.
=D
this should be kobe's 3rd consecutive mvp season, but the people in charge are morons
imo, an mvp should be someone who can take on the pressure down the stretch, and of course, still win
ex: last night's game vs portland
portland got w/ in 7, kobe comes in and scores 9 straight points for the lakers, including 2 3s, one being a 4-point-play
he can not only score but he can pass and rebound as well
ex: i forgot which game, but when lamar (?) went to the free throw line, he missed the 2nd in a verry close game and kobe got the offensive rebound and sealed the game for them with his clutch free throws
thats why hes the mvp in my book
chris paul... last year hornets were out of the playoffs picture early, this year they are on top of the western conference and to their first 50 win season in the last 10 yrs...
kobe doesnt deserve it because he hasnt done anything...... yeah hes good, but what has he done???? STATS DONT MAKE MVP!! they were garbage w/o pau gasol..... all kobe doing is ball hogging....
if lebron and the cavs were dominating the east then lebron would win.....
chris paul or kevin garnnet cause they helped change 2 teams around. the celtics were sucky last year but now their beast cause of kg. Chris paul and his assists and leadership have made the hornets one of the best teams this year.
Yes, thank you. No one understands the fact that the MVP award goies to not the best player in the NBA but the player with the most success in that leason. Lebron is better than kobe but kobe gets MVP because his team is better.
Kobe Bryant is the MVP
CP3 hands down, Kobe couldnt even lead his team past the Bobcats or Grizzlies.... AT HOME!!!
KOBE MVP!
I'd say Kobe. He has prevailed through injuries (both of his own and of teammates), the only injury Chris Paul had to deal with was a 6 game long injury of David West. Kobe was left without a legitimate big man for a good 18 games this season, Paul has had two big men (all-star David West and the leader in ORB and 3rd in TRB, Tyson Chandler) healthy for most of the year.
Lebron is completely out of it, because he doesn't make his team of elite status. All he has is his stats (Which, ironically, come easier by slacking off on defense by playing passing lanes, and hogging the ball on offense). If stats won the MVP, Kobe should have won it the last two years, and no way Dirk should have won it last year.
Kobe with just ONE all-star (Pau Gasol (all-star)): 16-4
Which is 70-12 season-wise, if he had Pau all year and played at that same intensity, it would've been the 2nd best record in NBA history.
Paul with TWO all-stars (David West and Peja): 47-20
