Chris Paul should be the MVP of the NBA and he is going to be. Chris Paul is more explosive and better than kobe. Another reason why Chris Paul is getting MVP is because Chris Paul got the Hornets probably the worst team in the league to the 2nd seed in the West. And finally Chris Paul has a way better attitude then Kobe. Chris Paul doesnt complain that he wants to get traded because his team isnt good enough. of course he should! out of all the MVP candidates this year, he's the one who's performing consistently in an MVP level. his assist numbers went up during the second half of the season, and he' been #1 in steals all throughout the year. he's the main reason why his team is on top of the standings. his leadership has certainly made everyone on his team better. he knows when to pass, and when to take over games. he's been clutch all year long. he's young but his leadership skills is several notch higher compared to kobe's. he should win it. kobe fans should accept it. if you don't believe me, watch game1%26amp;2 of their series against the mavs. that'll be enough to convince y'all of his value to the hornets' franchise!

Yes Chris Paul should win MVP. WHY? Because of stats. Kbe averages 28 a game that is outstanding. Chris Paul averages 21 and 11 assists double double by the way which the only person to have more of those is that beast in Orlando. Any way that is creating at least 43 points a game. Also one of the only players ever to lead in assists and steals. There is no question Kobe is great but not mvp.
think of the MVP as this way... if the team takes out the player, will the team succeed for the entire season?

If the Lakers take out Kobe, will they succeed? They have Odom, AND Gasol. Yes Gasol has not been with the lakers all season, but before he was there, they had bynum. so i believe the team would still survive without kobe.

If the Hornets take out CP3, will they succeed? No. Yes they have West, Yes they have Chandler, but with out CP3 handing them the ball for the assist or drawing the defense to cover him, they would not have been THAT open to score or do anything. If the Hornets did not have CP3, they probably wont even be in the playoffs in the WEST.

I believe CP3 IS the MVP, and NOT kobe. even though im from LA, and dislike the hornets, i believe CP3 wins it over Kobe.

I don't think so. Kobe deserves it this year because he has never won the MVP award yet in his career. Look at what Kobe has done during his career. Besides Paul still has a lot of time during his career.
