The NBA are hypocrites! Check this out:
ALL-STAR MVP: By who SCORED the most POINTS!
NBA FINALS MVP: By who had the highest POINT average of the series!
Okay, 95% to 99% of the time they pick all-star mvps %26amp; finals mvps by who SCORED THE MOST POINTS!....If points matter for those MVP awards, well why doesn't points matter for SEASON MVP!? A mvp is a mvp right? Why won't they award the season mvp for the same reasons they award the finals mvp or all-star mvp?......Well I'll tell you why! Because for the last 3 years it's been FIXED! The NBA has turned into a bunch of crooks! Their trying to turn away from that new HIP-HOP image. So they're giving those awards to players like Nash %26amp; Dirk!....What a SHAME!
How do they usually determine the ALL-STAR MVP %26amp; NBA FINALS MVP?nba video
FIRST OF ALL
they gave the all star game award to Kobe this year who took 9 more shots than ANYONE in the game. so tell me, should he be rewarded for shotjacking?
Glen Rice won a f'n all star game award.
who cares about all star game awards
Finals Mvps are given to the player that contributed the most all around to the championship
you wont find one finals mvp that you will be able to dispute
each finals mvp was handed out accordingly
YOU MAKE NO SENSE!
Alpha Wolf, everyone laughs at your posts. you make no sense. you never will. your bias posts wouldnt sway a brainless monkey. moron
"too easy"
How do they usually determine the ALL-STAR MVP %26amp; NBA FINALS MVP?pro basketball ,nba teams
The Shame is on idiots like yourself ... in 2000-01 - Allen Iverson, on Philadelphia won the Season MVP ... hes the biggest thug of them all
Lets go over the MVP's
ALL-STAR MVP : ... you pretty much hit this one on the head ... considering theres so many players and they all get to get there turn to play in the game.... The all star game is a run and gun game where the total points are usually around 250+ points.... almost no defense is played at all
NBA FINALS MVP: This is where your somewhat right .... if you notice the MVP did have alot of points but also its there other stats that made them the cream of the crop of there respected series ... These are the go to guys who do it all ... its not all about points scored look at the other stats

Averaged 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Spurs to a 4-3 victory over the Detroit Pistons. Duncan poured in 25 points and 11 boards in the decisive Game 7, locking up his third Finals MVP award.
2004 -- Chauncey Billups, Detroit

2003 -- Tim Duncan, San Antonio
Averaged 24.2 points, 17.0 rebounds and 5.3 blocks to lead the Spurs to 4-2 victory over the New Jersey Nets. Duncan scored 21 points and added 20 rebounds, 10 assists and eight blocks in Game 6 of the NBA Finals at the SBC Center to eliminate the Nets.

to watch!......come on Dirk..MVP??????..Huh?............and answer me this......HOW IN THE H.E.L.L does Steve Nash have more MVP's THEN SHAQ????????????????????????????????????...
Its determined by those in the business, analysts, writers, etc. There is no criteria, it's completely subjective. If it was objective, it wouldn't need voting, a computer could tell you. Historically, it's a player for a team who has won more than 50 games, then the finals mvp is different. That's it, debate all day.
Why 2 mvps? Season and finals? I think it's an admission that the person they vote for Season MVP may not make it to the Finals, thus they vote again.
