Nash. America loves him. He gets everything. He even got a triple-double last night against the Trail Blazers. Kobe gets points, but he shoots way too much. If he let other players shoot, they might actually win. But they are going to lose to the Suns in the playoffs.
nash. he's the better overall point guard. kobe can get the points but nash will get everything else.

I think you have to look at the MVP race as if you were a coach and had to choose between the two. With Kobe on your team, you have a team with the best player today. With Nash on your team, you have a guy who makes all of his teammates into good players.

So as a coach, do you want a team with one excellent player, or a team with five good players? The numbers don't lie, so I go with Nash for Most Valuable Player.
